Amy Groefsema Bisher, AGB for short, was born and raised in Kings County. She attended Lemoore High School and continued her studies at Long Beach State. Amy has a BA in Psychology and Master’s in Education Administration.

Prior to becoming a Realtor, Amy held several positions, all of which assist her to be a successful Realtor. Amy thrived as a junior high teacher and volleyball coach in Orange County, California. She then took time off to pursue an interest in public relations, joining prestigious Porter Novelli in San Francisco as an Assistant Account Executive where she worked with such clients as Hewlett Packard and Network Associates. Ultimately, she returned home to Hanford and resumed teaching and coaching.

In February 2006, she started her career in Real Estate and has enjoyed every minute of it. She earned the “Beyond Excellence” designation in just her second year and third years as a Realtor. She was a member of the Kings County Board of Realtors MLS Committee in 2008 and is the current MLS Chairperson for 2010.

Amy is successful because she is committed to her clients. She utilizes passion to help, dedication to thrive and honesty and loyalty to serve clients. Her strengths are to recognize the needs and desires of clients. She is a strong negotiator and committed to getting the deal done for her clients. Amy also has vast knowledge of the area, which she shares with her clients and enables her to be successful. Not only is Amy a Realtor to her clients, but she is also a friend. She uses her “sphere of influence” to represent her clients.

Amy and her husband, Christian, a Naval Officer, stationed at LNAS, live in Hanford with their two children, Brynn & Dylan and their Boston Terrier, Maximus.
